Position: Head of Training
Salary: R202,000 ? R268,000 + other benefits
Location: Vereeniging
Closing Date: 31st November 2009
Reporting to the Divisional Manager, Chain Products. .
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
? Matriculation plus a relevant honours Degree/Diploma in Behavioural Sciences
? Extensive knowledge of facilitation, training coordination / evaluation, assessments and moderation.
? Understand ISO Systems and Standard Operating procedures
? Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit
? Knowledge of SAQA Act, SD Act and Employment Equity Act
? Supervision Skills including Interpersonal Skills, Budgeting and Report Writing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Promote safety and quality awareness through training and development interventions
? Promote productivity by analyzing training needs and implementing appropriate intervention to address skills deficiencies within the company.
? Supervise employees in the training section to train, develop and assess trainees.
? Compile Workplace Skills Plan (WSP), and relevant reports for submission to MERSETA
? Follow established guidelines in coordinating training interventions and respond to client demands and liaise with relevant training institutions/training providers.
? Facilitate relevant training and keep accurate reports including expenditure on training
? Participate in systems audit and address audit requirement related to education, training and development of employees.
